Tein EDFC with rear strut bar?

Will the Tein EDFC work with a Corksport or Cusco rear strut bar?

i dont see why it wouldnt, i thought the edfc just adjusted the damping force, not change any alignment.

I wanted to see if the stepper motor that mounted on top of strut would fit with a strut bar mounted.

Pic of the rear bar:

There are 2 versions of the EDFC. Old & New. I believe the older setup has been discontinued, the old setup came with the silver control box New versions are black. I have the older version. The stepper motors are kinda big and I dunno if they would work with that Corksport bar. The new stepper motors are smaller though. Heres a pic of mine.

If you are going to get a strut bar get one that leaves the area where the stepper motors goes completely unobstructed. Like this:

I think there is a rear brace made by mazdaspeed that will leave that area clear.
*edit*
Here is the mazdaspeed one.

Do you happen to have a pic of the TC Sportline rear bar installed?

Your coilovers are installed wrong, the top mount is installed 90 degrees to how it should be. You'll get no camber adjustability that way, it'll only adjust caster, which is less important.

I used to have a Corksport rear bar and I don't think that an EDFC motor will fit, but the rear bar doesn't really do much anyway. I also am not convinced that EDFC and the like are worth the $300 or whatever it costs. It's not hard to get out and turn some ***** and once you have it set properly there's really no need to adjust it any more.

I know, its an old pic. That was corrected ages ago.

It actually can come in quite handy. Its pretty nice to be able to control the damping force on the fly when road conditions change. Its nice if you street your car. You can figure out a nice track setup and set a preset for it and a softer preset for street use and then adjust from that on the fly. Its a nice toy that saves you some time.
