TEIN EDFC feedback
The sound of controlling the damping force from the driver seat is too convenient. What effect will the EDFC as oftently used and the fact thats electonically controlled do.? Contoller failure.? Buttons malfuntion.?

The electronics are solid state, so it's dependent on the robustness of the electrical components.
I'd worry about the stepper motors, since these are notorious for failure.

I have the EDFC on my car with a set of Tein Flex coilovers. Yes, the stepper motors clear the hood just fine. I have yet to drive the car and fiddle with it though. When the key is turned the stepper motors turn on and you can hear them recalibrate themselves. The EDFC control unit itself does not have any *****, only buttons. I have pics in my buildup thread. Very soon I'll have some video of the operation of the unit as well.
The only part of the EDFC system that I see breaking are the stepper motors. I don't see the control box breaking unless for some reason your pushing the buttins with a screwdriver or a hammer or there is just some defect on the PCB.
