Just a note to those of you using jb weld. I was a dummy using it. I put it in the hole and sat there with my fingure blocking it from inside the tb so it would not drain out. That didnt go well.

So instead I put tape there and let it sit over night.
I borrowed a tap set once from a shop. Maybe you can do that?

However, in retrospect I would tap it. And use the threaded plugs. Kinda stuck now.

I used both. First I tapped the holes, and locktite red'ed the plugs. Then I used JB weld on the inside of the Tb, so that when I went in and profiled the inside of it there would be no restrictions to flow.

the only reason you see as many people with JB weld is b/c they are to lazy to do it with the plugs, the plugs are definitly the best way out, this way you remove the shaft which causes turbulance and there is no chance that the epoxy will get sucked into the engine. just tap it man, its the best, and most reliable way. some of the people say that the JB weld has done good for them, but look at the people it has screwed over, have you ever heard or a plug getting sucked into the engine, i dont think so. just go with the plug man, trust me

I see what you are saying now Geoff. I was thinking that with the plug laying in the throttle bores it would be blown into the engine under pressure since it's after the turbo. I see now that you meant that the plug would be blown out by the pressure.
