Question TB mod

Hey I was just wondering what are the bad things about the throttle body mod. I've heard it make you lose some bottom end power. If so how much. Thanx 4 ne comments. Except for the ppl who will say search over and over again. Cause I'm on a t~mobile sidekick 2 and take 4 eva to load and look at all the threads to see which one has the information I need. Thanx again. But this time I'm thankin you for not flaming me.

Well get a computer....j/k I The only difference I ahve ever heard of is that if you shift at low speeds you will notice its a little less smooth. Thats what those are for and to restrict the air flow . The benefits of course being better throttle response improved rpm band, and better hp(mostly TII). Now are you talking about just removing the butterflies and porting it or removing cold start??? I feel there is nothing thats worth removing it as I am in co and Most(not all just most) have starting/possible idle problems after removing the cold start stuff(granted soem of that is attributed to the tps sensor will need adjusted properly). The only "good" that could come of it is that you dont have the hot coolant running through your tb. I say its not worth all the trouble and possible starting issues. There you have it, now dont even get started on the will my n/a be much quicker cause that one has been argued over and over. Honestly I have a TII and noticed a nice gain that made this mod totally worth it.

Took 30 seconds.

Porting and moding the throttle body are two different things.
