TB coolant passages
The unit on a 86 mounts with three screws to the throttle body.
That unit has the water IN and the water OUTLET on IT.
There is NO water passage from the unit to the throttle body.
The 87turboii shown with the 86 non turbo, HAS a water hole that leads to the passages in the throttle body.
The 87 only has a water OUT nipple. No water IN nipple.....because the water IN is attached to the bottom of the body and the water goes thru a passage IN the throttle body to the water thermowax.
Therefore the author of this thread was told RIGHT when they told him his 86 has no water passage thru the throttle body. There ain't one thar.
Look at the throttle body of a 86 non turbo with the water thermowax off, and you'll find NO water passages in the throttle body.
