Those were the two places that I was going to buy from if I ever needed one. Keep in mind, that if its not stock, your going to need a better fuel pressure regulator im pretty sure, as the pressure will be really high with the pumps that these guys sell. Im not to sure on that, but we'll wait for some other replys to confirm if im dead wrong or right ;0

if you don't have any mods you don't need an aftermarket pump. you get the pump when you need more fuel for the mods.

buy a stock pump. it puts out more than enough.

while your at it, change the screws that hold the pump assembly in the tank. the stockers suck. they are 8mm screws.

sorry to hijack, but:
i need to put a new pump in. i have a new pump, but i need to swap it into the old assembly (float, etc). i cant get that damn screw off that holds the pump itself in. any tips?

Why don't you just buy a FD fuel pump?

pliers, or get a flat head screw driver and a hammer and hammer the screw driver into the screw and try using the flat head if its stripped, spray wd40 on it the nite b4 too, and i would get a stock pump but they're all over 150+ and thats kind of cash i dont have. wouldn't the FD fuel pumps be too much for a stock 86 n/a fuel system>?

If I understand correctly, your fuel pump only supplies the fuel to the injectors - you could put a fuel pump from a Peterbilt Semi in it, and it's still only going to squirt out whatever the injectors are programmed to do, so I'm sure an FD RX7 fuel pump would be fine.
