Taking out wiring harness ???

I replaced my fuel side wiring harness. Now its time for the body harness or the one thats connected to the coils.. U know. Well anyways I will be taking it out soon and wanted to know a few pointers. I know how to take out all the crap from the engine side but when it goes into the floor erea I get lost. I have not tried it yet but It looks like it connects to the ECU and midway , it connects to the AC right in back of the logicon. I really dont think I need to take the dash out so if anyone has done this please help me. If it helps I will not have any carpet or flooring in a couple of days...

I'm in the process of changing the wire harness that goes to the passenger side kick panel. Actually I just started and came in because it started raining ..... The top of my engine is striped so that part is no big deal. I have the kick panel off and have 4 of the 5 interior plugs unplugged but the one that is furthest back near the firewall is being a bitch. When it stops raining I'm gonna go out and try again on that last plug and hopefully pull the harness out through the firewall.

Ok ... I just got that last connector unplugged. I was able to slide it right through the firewall! I got lucky and didn't have any bolts holding it to the firewall behind the dash!

Right on.... I just got done taking out the carpeting in the 89GXL. Easy just got hard right by were the stereo ash try is so I left that little piece under thier and cut it off with a knife. Anyways whats up with all that hard foam. I peeled some off and turned to charcoal crap. Is thier an easy way to take this crap off. How much weight. 30 pds???
I also noticed that the driver side seat weighs almost 40pds and the passenger side seat like 33pds. They are so freaking heavy. cant waite to get racing seats.
