Question taking off the air pump belt

i drive a 88 gxl would taking the belt to the air pump cause any problems
if so what? emmisions not a problem

Do you still have your cats? Also, why just take off the belt when you can take the whole pump off?

I just cut the belt off, just don't do it if you have cats or you'll clog em up. It will only take you about 5 more minutes to remove the whole thing. If you do plan on removing it just PM me and I'll let you know what to do with all of teh lines.
