Taking my 7 off the road

i'm going up to school and im wondering, are there any special precautions i should take while my car is off the road? I'm having my dad warm it up and take it around the block once every 2 weeks or so. Beyond that, are there any rotary-specific car storage/care things i should be doing? thanks

Never do that. Warming a car up every 2 weeks is bad, contratry to popular belief.

Have fun.

after reading aaron's thing, i still think warming it up every few weeks or so makes sense. why wouldn't it reach full operating temperature? i always warm it up, i'm not just jumping in and flying around the corner.

here is what im having him do currently:
warm it up and defeating the AWS by starting it in gear.
drive it about 10 miles, shifting at 6400+ at least once.
