That's good. You guys needed to win at least one gold metal this Olympics. What's your medal count anyway, 5 or 6? You guys got some good athletes up there in Canada, keep up the good work.

That kinda sucks that it took 50 years to win the gold again.

Hmmmm.. not to jump on anyone's side..however, do all you people in the south spell "won" O-N-E ??
Seeing as you are suggesting that "Hackey" was spelt purposely (Which is reasonable), and there are no other mistakes in the original message, you gave me a good laugh ...

oh well..

>>Yeah, but you live in a tax-repressive socialist country

So I guess I'll pick this one up.

If you take the time to check the numbers (and I haven't, but I did watch a report on CBC a while back about this) you'll find that Canadians have lower/less taxes than those in the U.S. And we're not talking a *little* less, either.

Socialist? Just enough so that getting sick doesn't equate with bankruptcy. With the exception of B.C. (which makes California look like Utah) ;D there hasn't been a socialist government in power, either federal or provincial, for a very long time. And even our socialists aren't very socialist. More like Pink Disorganization than Red Menace.

And the Toronto Blue Jays won the World Series twice, once in '92 and again in '93. I should know; I burned out my horn in Burlington, Ontario, that night in '93.

Oops! Change the thing about, "hasn't been a socialist government in power, either federal or provincial, for a very long time." to something like, ' hasn't been in power for very long for a long time.'

Gotta proofread next time.
