Tail Light question
OK, Ive heard a billion different things. Will S5 Vert lights fit on my S4 TII? Ive heard yes and no, I have access to some, and Id like to get rid of the ugly S4s...so lets have it....yes or no??

i thought you were buying a datsun ..haha, honestly i dont know the absolute truth but everyone i have talked to says they fit just the keyhole are in the lights or some junk or they're longer?

Might be worth getting the 'vert lights and selling them for money to put towards regular '89-91 taillights.
Seems like they should bolt up, but it will look kinda dumb.

As Dale said, they will fit but you will have the key hole in the plate panel.
I betcha you could get $250 for the s5 vert tail lights though for someone that had an 88 and wanted the later lights.
Comparied to the $150-$200 that most people are getting for the S5 coupe lights.

The 'vert lights are narrower, the license plate frame is wider. Just hold them up there, you'll see what I mean- they DON'T fit properly. You could make it work with all 3 parts, but I suggest selling/trading them and getting the correct ones. The 'vert ones are rarer, but not as many people need them- so I think it's a wash.
Note that I already HAVE a set, so I'm not trying to talk you into selling them to me or something like that.
I suggest finding someone with a 'vert that wants them and getting them to buy a set of the coupe ones (easier to find) and swap them with you.
