I guess you could tap into the fuse box.

just tail lights??? not brake lights???? not all parking lights???

If it is all parking lights you would want to interupt the lead at the light switch.

Tail lights

My brother was hooking up a switch to allow him to turn the headlights on without raising them up and he tapped into the wrong wire and he was able to dim all of his tail lights-he can dim them from full power all the way to where they are off-good if you are cruising at high speeds at night

They helped him quite a few times with johnny law!

OMFG! I'm not the only person who has done or wants to do this to a car! In my fiero, I had a switch hooked up so that I could kill all the parking lights (and the brake lights too). Yeah. Think about that. you never know when it might help you one night. Really. at least thats what I keep thinking. hehehe

in it there is a fuse for the parking lights, and I also had to wire in the brake light switch. My reverse lights didnt' work anyways, so I didn't worry about them.

the idea is this: You blow past a cop at a speed trap. He tears out after you. You see the blinkenlights, and kill all your lights and accellerate like hell. a mile or two down the road, find a corner, and use it! then put all the lights on and just drive normally. BING! perfect getaway. hehehe
at least thats the thought.

you can almost duplicate this (but unfortunatly still brakelights) without a switch by just holding the high beam switch while killing the lights.

....

don't ask me why i thought of this, I really have no idea.

its the red/black wire at the cpu or light switch....
this wire controls the parking lights and taillights.....but does not control the brake lights....like when u press on the brakes...the lights will go on....so u gotta have to find that wire an wire it to the manual switch.

You really just need the kill switch for the brake lights. When being chased kill the headlights and parking lights and turn on the night vision. Now that would be sweet. Except, I think that any on coming headlights might blind you. Anyway I want night vision.

Except when they see the reflection off your rear license plate... Then they can nail you for driving without lights and brake lights not functioning, not to mention failure to signal and evading police... Probably sieze the car when they find the brake light disable switch. (here in MN when you rear end someone its always your fault. so that could be deemed a "tool" of intended insurance fraud)

Don't get me wrong... I've done them in other cars I've had.

yea kill all lights. That does sound good. The only problem is that if you don't go fast enough, your liscense plate still reflects light. But the whole idea is good!

just turn the *** so that the headlights stay up and turn all the lights off, for the headlights to work when you need them to just pull back on the lever.

Thats when you need to setup the license plate to flip around, get covered, or some how concealed at the flick of a switch. Have all of that and you can get away every time. And your friends will think you are the most ridiculous SOB in the world.

Why not just get a good pair of foglights? Then you can just turn all your lights off and still be able to see to drive. Seems alot easier to me. Plus you get foglights

I've thought about that long ago, just turn off all the lights
and be careful if some innocent driver in front of you doesn't cut into your path
