Ok so i'm not entirely sure if i'm putting this thread in the right place but here goes. so i have a nice set of S5 tails with one exception. the drivers side corner lens is broken. dont know how. bought it like that. what im wondering is does anyone know how i can just get the corner lens. it's mildly retarded it seems to buy a whole new assembly and i know its a two piece lens. i just need to find one. just one.

Maybe try running a Wanted ad in the Classified "Parts for Sale/Wanted" Second Gen section. Somebody has to have a broken taillight with a good corner lens that they'd be willing to sell you cheap. Or just keep an eye on the "S5 part out" ads and see if anyone is listing one.

Why is it that at least half the S5 FCs have a broken/cracked driver side tail light corner? I have had 3 S5 set all with the same corner borken! It was not caused by me either.

 

Idk, but i've seen 4 sets of S5 tails (2 verts and 2 hatch) and all were messed on drivers side.

 

That's odd, mine broke on the passenger side
