tach not workin

tach not workin

im a dumbass i hooked my battery on the wrong way and now my tach dont work what would be fucked up

Your tach gets the signal from the trailing coil. You need to verify that the coil is firing. Check the fuses under the dash. If the car starts and runs consider yourself lucky that you didn't fry any of the components like the ECU.

right after i did it i blew a fuse under the dash everything still works just not my tach

Do yourself a favour and wrap the + battery cable with red tape.

but what if your tach is intermitten, mine seems to go in and out but I never use it since the SAFCII has a tach and its more accurate. but it seems to turn off and on as it pleases, likes to go in and out over bumpy roads.

yea i know i was in a hurry trying to get done before i had to go to work i installed a water pump and a efan so i took everything out from the front
