Arrow Tach needle is 1k too low...adjustment?

the 7 at my work i am working on has the tach needle about where 1k would be if it was below 0 rpms... not sure how the kid pulled this off but the redline buzzer goes off at 6.1k so its seems the whole thing shifted somehow. any ideas on how to adjust the needle postion to get it back on center? does it pop off?

The needle can be removed on the tach and put back on.

Although it sounds like the calibration is off and if that is the case, then moving the needle will not solve the problem.

The cablibration on the tach is the plastic pot on the circuit board on the back of the tach. You would need a calibrated electronic tach to know what to tune it too, however.

BTW, The metal adjustment pot on the back of the circuit board is the buzzer point, but you need to make sure the calibration is correct on the tach with the white pot before adjusting the metal pot for the buzzer.
