Tach dying randomly.

Angry Tach dying randomly.

so this is a new problem. sometimes if i quickly peg redline in nuetral the tach dies. then once i restart the car, the tach works again. suggestions as to what i should look for to fix this? its kinda annoying.

Every FC I have ever worked on has had this. Not rev up but just die. Restart the car and work again.

So far my guess is the cluster b/c I have swapped T coils.

a lot of times my tach doesnt work at all, but only on really cold days...hehe

when my tach died erratically like that, I replaced the 7.5amp meter fuse and never again have I had a problem...

I always assumed it was the harness connector or PCB solder connections.
Every time I go to test it, it's working, and I can't get it to fail.

The fuse.. Cool.
