T3 wastegate flange?

Ok dont kill me if im wrong but I remember that s4 turbos have a T3 flange right? If so I was thinking about porting my wastegate bigger or adding a wastegate to the manifold till I found this.It a t3-t3 adapter with wastegate flange. Hmm I was wondering if it could work on 2nd gens at all? So figured I would ask everyones opinion It sounds like a good idea but unsure what other mods would need to be done to make it work. Ie.. adapt water feed, oil lines and exhaust? If not just a thought.

The stock S4 turbo's flange does not match anything other than another stock S4 turbo, so that won't work.

Even if it did, you're right that spacing the turbo out like that would require completely custom oil and coolant lines, and altering of the exhaust and intake pipes. Try modifying the stock wastegate first, it's a lot cheaper and easier.

A 50mm wastegate port would be outside the housing...

Aaroncake. no specific size of hole just as large as I can go ? Does the hole have to be round to function? Or just large and properly sealed? I have read your thread and you do not specify size and I already ported it to roughly 30mm and I still get boost creep/spike on cold days.

As big as you can go without compromising the housing. Though since the wastegate passage only leads to one runner, there is a fundamental limitation in how much control you have. It can be any shape, though round is the easiest.

It is also possible that you may not be able to port it large enough. The turbine side of the stock turbo may simply be too small.
