t3 t4 turbo

Exclamation t3 t4 turbo

I wanna put on on my s4. Will it bolt right on? and shoudl i get a stainless steel turbo mainfold form ebay when i upgrade the turbo?

no you cant bolt a t4 flange right up. yes you will need a new manifold, some have had no problems with the ebay stain steel, some bag on them. i would suggested looking in the classifieds on here and getting a decent manifold i believe i say someone selling manifold, wastegate, and downpipe. thats what i would suggest doing.

Any t3 is entirely too small for our cars. I assume you are talking about the t3/4 hybrids that the DSMers run.

^ except a GT35 pretty much, or a Holset HX35 or HX40. But yeah, all but the largest T3's will not work well.

Interestingly enough, some Rx-8 guys are putting GT28RS's on their cars. The Greddy turbo kit comes with a mitsu 18G turbo, which is pretty much a T3 style turbo.

Yeah, but the life of these turbos is proving to be very short as they are totally oversped by the engine. The Greddy turbo kit doesn't have a lot of happy followers either.

and they only make about as much hp as a stock t2
