just got a 87 t2. the car will crank but will not start. im pretty sure im getting spark and fuel. there is an s5 maf wired in but im not sure if its done properly. some smoke in exhaust after cranking. i was thinking maybe the car is flooding out. im running ngkr bur9eq plugs out of my n/a right now. any help? and if anyone would be willing to trade an s4 afm thats working for this s5 afm

 

Unplug the AFM and see if it starts. Have you actually checked for spark yet, or just assuming?

 

spark tested and its got it. should i be running hotter plugs?

 

what kid of gas should i be running through this thing? anything special?

 

I always run 93 in turbo cars, but there's another whole thread in here discussing that.

Pull the green EGI fuse out under the hood, spin it over 6-7 times, put it back in and see if it tries to fire.

 

runs but super rich with the s5 afm

 

get a s4 afm...

 

i need to but no ones got one locally anyone got one?
