What do i need to buy. BESIDES a t2 tranny to complete this swap.
I what to by an aftermarket flywheel and clutch.I do buy it as if it where a t2 right. What else do I need...

You'll have to have a special driveshaft made. The turbo has a larger dia driveshaft and the bolt pattern on the rear end is different. Local drive shaft shop should be able to make one or you can call Mazdatrix and they will have one made for you but they will also tell you that it can be locally made.

 

Rather than buying a custom propeller shaft, I think it would be better just to pull the drivetrain off a TII donor car. That way you will get the proper propeller shaft, as well as the stronger TII LSD and driveshafts.

Mazdatrix catalog indicates you will need a tii flywheel and clutch also. You might give them a call for just a couple of bucks to find out what else.

 

i am pretty sure i am getting a t2 tranny, driveshaft, rear end, and halfshalfts......
that should everything i need right.
the clutch anf fly wheel i want get is aftermarket so i should buy them as if i had a t2 even though i have a na right??

 

I'd still give Mazdatrix a call. There might be an issue with the mounts. They indicate the bellhousing is a bit larger but the bolt pattern is the same. Might be some small interference issues. I'll get off my dead ______ sometime today and look out back. I have both types laying about, just not much motivation.
