Does any one has an idea of how to modify the tail shaft of a T2 tranny in order to move the shifter approx. 2" forward??? I want to use it in a RX-3, but do not want to cut a hole in the car, I'm trying to keeping looking as stock as possible. TIA Dave

i dont know if it the same for rx-3's but on a first gen you use a 12a tailshaft so it lines up in the stock location.
