T2 swap, tranny wiring issues...

I'm in the process of a turbo swap into my 88se. We just put the turbo tranny in my car, and noticed that the NA wiring harness doesn't plug into the turbo tranny. We spliced some connecters off of the turbo wiring harness, but I'm wondering if this is normal? I read a ton of these turbo swap threads and never heard of anyone having to do this to the harness, am i retarded?

i dont think anyone here is qualified enough to determine if your retarded or not. as far as the wire is concerned when doing n/a -> t2 swap alot of the n/a body harness connections are replaced with the corresponding t2 connections so there is a good possibility that your doing the right thing.
