T2 s4 s5 rotor housings

Are the s4 and s5 t2 rotor housings the same? Friend told me they aren't and they would cause the e-shaft to snap? I tried to search put didn,t come up with an answer.

The housings should be the same.
Kevin Landers rebuild my engine with S4 parts and S5 housings.

They are different. The S5 housings, the plugs holes are futher apart (Distance between leading and trailing).
