T2 Rear swap with N/A tranny ....WAIT for it....

I know there are a lot of posts out there but my perticular problem fits none of the posts outlined in the pages of newbee dribble,..

I have a COMPLETE T2 rear I want to mate it up to the stock 13bNA tranny and motor, using........

The N/A driveshaft..

I know before you jump my ***... if i read correct can't I just re-drill teh bolt holes to match theT2 rear on the rear input shaft to accept the N/A tranny and shaft length?

I know the t2 shaft is shorter, is this becuase the t2 tranny is longer or is it because the T2 rear section is longer..WTF?

straight answeres only please no freaking guessing like all the other posts..

You can cut out the holes on the NA DS to fit the t2 rear...you need the t2 axles for the t2 rear, too. THe NA and t2 trannies are the same length, and the driveshafts are to. THe diameters of the mating points are different, the t2 stuff is all bigger.

so, you could just bolt up the whole rear end from the TII, the cross member and all? and mod the N/A DS to fit?? sweet. wish people had told me that last week
