T2 problems.. it wont start any more..
So after a couple of months of lagging i finished my s5 t2 swap into my 89 gtu...
i turned on the car, it idled a bit funky, nothing too bad. i let it idle and warm up for like 18 mins just because its the first time after the rebuild, that it started. When i was driving the car, first gear was pretty smooth, no real problems,
soo heres were my problem lies, going into second gear, i would accelerate it, but the motor would just go *brap brap*, backfire and would not accelerate at all, felt like it was flooding, and it would do the same in every gear, i was told that it could be that it was miss firing just because it was back firing alot. and the way it idled. but the strange is that when i turned off the car, it wouldnt do that till i drove the car,, soo im guessing the timing is off???
but today i decided to take it to a shop to get the timing adjusted, and again the same problem occured, but then the idle went down and it shut off...
and i could not start the car any more...
does any one know what it could be??
