Auto Trans mounts in a Vert
I thought i remembered reading on the forums here that the Trans Mounts on a Vert automatic would work on an NA manual trans without needing to fabricate new mounts?
Did I wishfull thinking myself into believing that or is that the case? I have been searching but haven't come up with anything so far. Almost have the old trans out and would just like to find out before I get too far along the proccess.
thanks for any help

On the underside of my 'vert (S4, 88 model year), as far as I know there look like there are threaded holes for the mounts for both the manual trans AND the autotragic trans. I havent seen an automatic transmission for these cars, so I cant be certain, but there is a set of holes very similar to the manual trans mounting points but a foot or so farther towards the rear of the car, and from what I've read, this seems to match up with the auto trans.
AFAIK, there was only one convertible body shell, built to hold either manual NA, manual turbo, or automatic, so you should be fine.
