This is my first post,so i figured i should familiarize myself with your beloved rotory motor. Out of the t04e and the td06-sh,Which one produces the most power on the 1990 turbo II?What kind of upgrades are needed to to run either of these big singles.oh yeah what is the difference between the 1988 turbo II and the 1990 turbo II

There are several T04E models available.&nbsp Also I know of at least two TD-06SH models.&nbsp In general a T04E is larger than a TD-06SH.

Properly...front mount IC, upgrade fuel pump, upgrade fuel injectors, upgrade fuel system, some system to control all the extra fuel...

182hp versus 200hp
5.5psi versus 7.5psi
'90 is a heavier car.
'88 has less rotor compression.
'88 uses a (stupid) twin-scroll turbo system
'90 uses a much superior divided turbo manifold and turbo turbine section

I wouldn't both with a TD06... thats a mitsubishi turbo and its not NEAR as configurable as a Garret....

generally a T04B is bigger than the TD06s... there are T04B 60-1s that have 4" inlets which would nearly swallow a TD06...

T04s are also offered with ceramic ball-bearing upgrades...

as far as upgrades needed; it depends...

you will need to upgrade the fuel system definitely; either a standalone fuel control; or an upgraded ECU (89-91s only)

since these turbos are big they need more fuel than what a S-AFC can control; usual ways of doing it are getting 720 secondaries and ALSO a Greddy AIC that controls two additional 550cc injectors plumbed into the intake

you'll need all kinds of other stuff... definitely a FMIC... big exhaust system... and a ring to bind them all (LotR joke)

a standalone unit like a Haltech or a Wolf or something would work too... lots and lots of different things todo...

Uh, no.&nbsp Ever seen a S-trim?&nbsp How about a T5/T6-trim?&nbsp These things are TINY!&nbsp In general, the T04B lines is smaller than the Mistubishi TD-06SH line - the Mitsu turbos have enough CFM's to flow around 400hp.
