Question T04 series on stock 13BT

I'm looking into turbos since the EMS is going in this weekend, what turbos would be good for 350-400RWHP (if possible on the stock ports...if not that much then 325-375 RWHP would be fine ).

Manifold is most likely going to be divided unless it's not necessary to reach the ideal goals set above.

I'm not looking to boost past 7.5K, quick spooling would be nice, but nothing that will choke the powerband above 6.5K. So should I get something near a 1.00 A/R? .60 60-1 compressor? What trim on the turbine?

Thanks!

Stock turbo has 104,000 miles and has seen better days.

I seriously doubt anything over 250RWHP while seeing air temps that would remain within reason on the stocker.

Your just not going to see 325 from the stock turbo(especially not RWHP). They don't like to be pushed past 12-13psi anyways and we all know that 12-13psi isn't getting you anywhere near 300RWHP.

By stock turbo, do you mean stock hybrid turbo or actual completely stock turbo, as from the factory? Without nitrous and with a completely stock turbo and no drastic port(BP or PP) I can not see any car getting past maybe 275hp. And thats a big maybe to me. Really would like to see this. Hell Miami isn't too far.

I would recommend the divided manifold and turbo. It will let you run a slightly larger hot side -- 1 or greater -- w/o gaining a lot of lag. Although I haven't selected my manifold yet, I have a TO4e on the way w/ a 1.0 hotside. Should spool up nicely on my RE.

By the way, let me know how your EMS install goes. You're putting in a microtech, right? That's what I'm looking at, would like to get your impressions.

how about if im lying and you come to miami and if you dont see his FACTORY TURBO hitting these high numbers that are on paper ill give you 500 dollars and if its true you give me 500 bucks???

he has a large street port, no pb or monster ports
but he also has told me he has done some project stuff with his fuel but wont tell me....

but yes the stock turbo

think about it just a racing beat exhaust boosts you up around 50 hp...... (downpipe, not cats and rb duals) also another reason im hopefully getting a turbo 7

i know it sounds crazy, i didnt believe it, but look at the slips or sit in his car and enjoy the roller coaster

NO way one stock turbo - stock compressor, everything is going to flow enough for 325 rwhp. It simply runs out of breath. I've seen plots of stocker at 1bar doing 265....

I would be very happy if you can prove me wrong.

you can push a lot out of parts, they just won't last very long. Sure, I can bring my engine to 10k rpm (if there was no fuel cut), but it won't last for more than a week or two.
