Ok, what if I want to use low impedence injectors where there used to be high impedence? I've read that all I have to do is use a 10ohm resistor. But, since low impedence injectors are designed for peak/hold, will they still function without the peak? Because all I'll be doing is offering the low voltage to the injector.

That's exactly what Mazda used to get them to work with the ECU.
They actually used 6-ohm resistors inline to get them to work.
Running resistors in series works fine.

Dammit.

I'm doing a TII swap and the guy gave me 2 purples and 2 reds.

So that means I have 2 low and 2 high!
WTF!!!! Not like they made my conversion any tougher since they sent me a S5 engine instead of S4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

Now I gotta wire in some reistors into certain plugs!! This ******* sucks

You can't really just go by color. You need to go by tab placement.

Colors can fade from engine heat.

But if you really have one set that is wrong, just go get a matching set from a junk yard or ebay.

I forget. Where is the tab placement on high/low?

low in the middle? They are 2 different colors though. One is a faded greyish purple and the other is red.
