synchros

hello all. How expensive is a synchros to replace? could I possible get one from a junk yard? Thanks in advance--Ren

the synchro's are only about $30-40 each (there are 5-6 depending on the year/ weather it has one on reverse), but the change them you have to dissassemble the entire transmission.
junkyard synchros are a no no, they are the wear parts inside the tranny, it would be like using junkyard hoses, and belts
