I have this 1987 rx7 in my driveway that has been sitting and I have been thinking lately to get it running on streets, the car was my brothers he had it running but the only problems was he said is this "syncro" (he called it) pin in the transmission. And I dont know much about cars I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

will it shift into gears fine?..i just replaced my tranny because my sycros were dead...and i had issues going into 3rd gear...

but the syncros are only like 12bucks each from mazda i heard somewhere

 

Pacific Mazda is really cheap for parts, I got S5 centre vents BRAND NEW for $58 CAD, plus they have something called the "crazy RX-7 discount"...no joke, we found out about it yesterday in person.
