Symptoms of a blown turbo?

How would I know if my turbo is blown? I am about 90% sure that one of my rotors went out, but Im still hoping its something else. I got 25,000 miles on a rebuilt streetported engine from Rotary power.

Do the turbo still hit full boost? I have a blown motor and hwen i drov eit, it can hit full boost, but would get there really slow.

How does the motor run at idle and off boost situations?

The engine starts up fine and idles fine, but the engine moves alot. Has like a sputtering feel to it. Its alot weaker and feels like a rotor is out. It also smells different, but it doesn't really throw smoke( just alittle when I start it up).

doesnt sound like a blown motor. My motor barely idles, and the whole car shakes. It also smells VERY rich.

Best thing to do is to do a compression test.

I was driving saturday night when a BMW pulled up to me. So I down shifted to third and redlined it, then in fourth I was at about 50% throttle and shifted at about 6,000 and when I shifted to fifth I was pretty much crusing. Then about a quarter mile down the car just lost power and started sputtering. It never threw smoke or shut off on me. The car idles fine but the motor moves quite a bit. I was able to drive it home ( about 1 mile maybe 1 1/2) It moves but very slow, no power. The car does smell diff and for the last couple weeks I have found some oil in the turbo, nothing big but enough to drip from my finger. Their is really no shaft play and it still spins pretty smooth.

oh yeah, doing a compression test tomm.
