switching actuator question

switching actuator question

Hi all. Installing my t2 motor after removing air pump and other things like that.

Im using the picture below to re"wire" the vacuum lines. I cant seem to figure out where/what the switching actuator is. Also the thing in the picture next to it connected to a check valve.

Thanks pictures would be awesome!

ohhh I guess its called the "twin scroll". Although its good to know this, it doesnt help me much. hehe I dont know where the twin scroll plugs into. hmmm

Follow the red arrows. That's what I put them there for.

Make sure the check valve and solenoid valve are orientated the correct way or it won't work.

ok cool, can I use any of the solenods or do I need to use the one with the yellow, blue, no dot?

You can use any of the solenoids but the twin-scroll one is connected differently to the others. Either use the right one (green) or pull the little filter off one of the others and put it in the right place. See page 4B-53 and 4B-54 of the FSM to see how it should be.
