Switch TII gauges to N/A gauges???
I was wondering, if you would put an FCD on the TII, the original boost meter in the gauges would read incorrectly, right? WELL, couldn't you buy an N/A gauge cluster, put that in, and wire up some sort of wiring so you could make it read the voltage? (voltage is in the spot where boost should be) Is the a feasible idea???

it would probably be just be a matter of plugging the gauges in.
In worst case (because I didn't bother to look it up from the shop manuals that are found online) you may have to move a pin or two.

no, the N/A voltage gauge works off of the ignition input for the gauges.
On the N/A gauges there just isn't anything hooked up to the place were the two wires for the boost gauge are.

All you need to do is:
-take out your guage cluster and unscrew the boost guage
-unscrew the voltage guage from an N/A cluster and screw it into where your boost guage was.
And thats it. The voltage meter screws in a little differently so that if makes a different connection than the boost guage. The screws actually make the electrical connection. No need to change any wiring, since the voltage meter just reads the voltage which is already supplied to the guage cluster. Plus this way you get to keep the proper tach and faster speedo.
