Im pretty sure that if you are swapping the entire engine, you have to use the turbo harness, the n/a isn't even an option. but don't quote me on this.

wrong answer.

just make sure the engine is the same series as your cra, and that sabout it. harness choice shouldnt matter to get it to run.

Use the present na EM harness IF it is a series four engine. If it's a series five engine.......do a search on the forum or read rotary resurrections site. I'd NEVER use a series four turbo EM harness on a series four n/a car. NOT saying it can't be done. Not saying that at all.

You could even use a series five engine in the car with series five ECU if you don't mind repinning wires b/t the Front harness and the EM harness and can spend some time looking at the pinouts of a series five EM HARNESS (note, I did not say ECU, but EM harness and looking at a series four wiring pinouts also so you swap/splice/dice the right wires. A fellow just last month wrote that this is what he did and the thing runs . Did I say IT'S NOT PLUG AND PLAY.

Neither is using a series four turbo engine in a non turbo car with a turbo EM harness plug and play. There are differences b/t the wire pinouts in the mating harness plugs on the Front harness for a na vs a turbo. NEVER said it can't be done, just is NOT plug and play.

I'd do a Search on this forum. Maybe Archieves also.
