Suspension Time
I have JIC-magic FLT-TAR coilovers, but they're a bit pricey.
I'd probably recommend getting the racingbeat suspension package (springs and swaybars) with koni yellow shocks.

no coilovers for what you are looking for..RB great company and specialize in mazda sports cars along with testing r&d their products..1 inch i think is pointless though...prob wont drop the car any compared to the stock saggy springs you have on there now..your decsion

Agree, with the addition of JRZ dampers, although they do not qualify for the "decent price" stipulation from the OP.
I would agree though that it would seem that coilovers are complete overkill here, and that something like the RB springs would be a better setup.
I have absoluetly not used any of the TEIN products, nor have I used any of the Chinese/Mexican Ebay suspension products. Please correct my ignorance by telling me which top end race cars (IRL, ALMS, etc.) use TEIN products to beat cars using Bilstein, Penske, Koni, or JRZ products.

That is why TEIN pwns Megan and KSport!

Did I ever claim that they were the best? No. I simply said that they're a very good entry level product, that means that they provide decent damping, have good quality, good servicability, good durability, good features, good spring rates and are reasonably priced.
Your comments have some merrit in that Tein isn't really used in many top level cars (it is used by some in Japan I think), but then again NONE of the top end stuff from any of those companies you listed even comes close in price to what something like a Tein Flex goes for, and realistically, they won't give you much if any more speed in the hands of an average driver. Koni Yellows for instance are different and inferior to what they use in F1, ALMS, Grand-Am, etc. The only thing that'd come close is some custom valved Bilsteins, which, along with the necessary hardware would still end up being significantly more expensive while being non-adjustable. All of the top level systems would also not be able to withstand the rigors of street driving nearly as well either, as they're designed to be rebuilt every year or so, and that'd get tiring (not to mention expensive) real fast for a street car.
Remember, we're talking about ENTRY LEVEL stuff here, not pro level best of the best stuff. Yes the OP said best, but he also said for a decent price.
So no they're not the best, but they're as good as or better than anything that you can get for comperable money, therefore they're a good value.

i have tein superdrift, very stiff compared to my tein flexes even on softest setting, recommend more for track use than street driving, unless your roads are decent. Similar design to flexes, only spring rates and dampening look different. Never had any problems with them and quality is number, no doubt. Highly recommend them

Id actually rather get Ground control coilovers with Koni, or Bilstein shocks, then getting a full on coil over from the companies people mentioned before.
For the price of a set of GC, theres non better.

While that's a good setup, you MUST get the Bilsteins re-valved if you want decent performance, since they're tuned for the factory spring rates, and the types of rates you get with GC coilovers are 2-3x as stiff. It also lacks a key feature of some of the all in one coilovers like Tein Flexes where the shock body is adjustable, which allows you to maximize travel for any given ride height so that you're not bottoming the suspension prematurely or so that you're not running out of droop travel or something like that. While this isn't always an issue, it's one less tool you have to maximize your setup.
