Suspension Techniques Anti-Sway Bars?
Does anyone have any experience with the suspension technique sway bars?
The front is 2 position adjustable (This is for the 86-88 only). Just wondering if I should get these instead of the non-adjustable Racing Beat bars. Mazdamotorsports also carries the Eibach sway bars and they are a little smaller but I've heard they are fully adjustable, anyone have these?
I don't know of any other options for our car without custom welding brackets and stuff.

I have a set of these on my '89 T2. They are very nice. To get the rear on the cat back had to come off, but that was about it. It did take a lot of swearing, but I got to keep everything in place.

MY CAR 88 fc
just put the eibach sway bars front and rear.
LOVE THEM. .......................... took 30 minutes to install
ajustable means they have 2 holes to choose from i put the bolt in the hole closest to the end. next track day i'll try the other hole to see the difference.
i totaly recomend them. next i'll get new struts and eibach springs. can't wait. i looked at the other bars
and the eibach seemed a little beefier plus i'm new to rx7 mods and eibach was a company i've heard about for a long time with all car guys so i went for it.
good luck you will like the improvement...........

Thinking about the same sway bars for my 87 Turbo conversion project. Where are good places to get them from. And what are the price comparision between the three different setups mentioned.

My take on the ST units on my '87 Turbo II...
They are one of the larger "sets" on the market.
The included hardware is bullshit - very cheap and course thread, versus the stock fasteners.  Fitment takes a little "persuassion".
My front bar has developed rust spots - minor irritation.
I thanked GOD for the two-way adjustable - in the front "soft" position, the car oversteered like MAD.  I swapped to the stiffer position, and the car is really neutral.
Their performance is good for the money.  The car ends up very flat while cornering.  The bar is so strong it managed to snap the front stock bolts that hold the "center" brackets to the chassis - I replaced them with 10.9 metric cap sockets and washers.  Keep an eye on these stock bolts - one of the very few stock fasteners ST doesn't replace.

And should I just replace the hardware that's provided in the kit with stuff at the local hardware story right off the bat or ??
I'm debating between this and the Eibach kit, but I can't find out any real details on the Eibach kit, I've heard it's fully adjustable, which could make up for it's smaller diameter.

i am in full agreement with ted. "minor irritation" isn't the word i would use tho. the hardware is cheap. i was miffed whan i actually saw it. i have not had the breaking problem that ted had. mine have been in place almost a year now with no rust.
