suspension

i need new struts. im looking to spend about 6-700 dollars. for a new/ strut spring setup. i need something that will be geared more towards drifting. before you all start flaming me, i know what i need as far as a good setup but right now it is not possible for me to acuire these high dollar parts. besides right now ill mostly be just practicing drifting

Get the highest spring rate possible. Really stiff suspension makes it easier to lose the back end.

Eh, so many people hate on drifting as a fad. They have nothing better to do.

For an extra 300 or so you could have some coilovers, like the Stance ones I use.

and im really tempted to do it but. the more i spend on suspension right now, means the less i spend on needed repairs to the the car street worthy. and right now the suspension is a needed repair so for a little more cash then just replacing struts and having worthless suspension. i can get something a little more performance oriented and will work for me for a while. and i could care less what people think about drifting.... i think it is fun as hell.

Just go with like Kyb agx's. Adjustable, and affordable. Then just get some tein or eibach springs and you'll be fine. My friend's dd has agx's and tein springs and he autox's and drift's it every month.

trust me get the coilovers. do it right the first time. you will spend more getting some in the future then an extra $300 right now. patience is a virtue.

just keep a watch on the 2nd gen for sale section. you'll happen across some low mile strut/spring setup after not too long for way cheaper than anywhere else.
