What supporting mods would a ported but other wise stock TII S4 need to run correctly?

It depends on a lot of things. What kind of porting, bridge? street? full bridge? What kind of turbo, stock? what boost do you plan on running, have you ported the wastegate significantly (if it is stock), do you have supporting mods? full exhaust?

If you want to boost over 8-9 psi, you need to ditch the stock computer preferably. In that range, you may get away with stock if everything else is stock, including exhaust, intake, etc. Otherwise options are from less to more favourable, S-AFC, R-TEK, Standalone.

Some people may say otherwise, but this is what I believe.

it has a street port, full exhaust, stock turbo. I might be buying this car so idk why it was ported. The engine was rebuilt so i guess he just figured he might as well get it done then. I just want to get the car running right cause its lean now

If you're staying with the stock turbo, an RTek and 720cc secondaries should do you fine as long as it's tuned right.

Yes. Even though the RTek isn't actually a full standalone, it should still be tuned by a professional.

TII's come with 550's all around stock.

oh so the Rtek chips wouldn't work? How hard is the Rtek 2.x to set up? I just need to bump fuel a little because the car is getting more air from the porting i think. What i dont understand though is shouldn't the AMF be measuring all the air that it takes in still? In anycase the car is lean and i need to increase fuel.

The RTek will work, but you should let someone who knows what they're doing tune it. The RTeks have presets for popular injector combos to get you in the ballpark, but you will still need to go through and adjust for the amount of boost you're running and whatnot. Have you checked out the RTek sub-forum in the engine management section? I'm sure you'd get more help over there.

Get an rtek 2.1 w/ PDA and the cord $600

The nice thing is you can use the stock 550 inj and just get the thing to run correct on stock boost. You will have to find someone who knows the rotary motor to tune it. Look in the conn/forum section and ask if someone knows anybody in your area that can tune the car. You can start there then upgrade inj down the road.
