Supercharger Fuel question

I just recently came across a nelson paxton supercharger kit. I'm just curious what I should do for fuel in my N/A. I only want to run 6-8 psi, so I believe I need to upgrade to 550cc secondaries and a better fuel pump. Do I need a RRFPR? Any info would be great.

Yeah, TII fuel injectors and pump are fine for 8psi. any higher than that and you have to upgrade, tho.

as far as i know, you dont need a RRFPR, becasue the stock one already is basically, but i might be wrong about that.

I have a TII fuel pump and 2 injectors you can have really cheap if you want them, shoot me a PM.

oh yeah, and a SAFC would be a very good idea too.

one last thing. If I run it with the secondaries and the pump upgrade, will it be too rich at those boost pressures?

6 PSI is considered the critical point before intake temps go too high.
At 8 PSI you're in intercooler territory.

Many say a cheap narrow band AFR gauge is useless, but I find it's a usefull diagnostic & troubleshooting tool.
It will tell you if something has gone wrong, or if you need to get to a Dyno with a wideband.

Your proposed mods should balance out pretty close.

WARNING! - Boost is addictive...

Once you go to the "dark side" (IE: MAP >0), it's hard to go back.

Also you may want a fuel pressure regulator.

There's always the option of a megasquirt kit and wideband with 550's all around and a walbro, for around $500.

I bought an FD fuel pump, and a freshly cleaned set of 550's for the secondaries. I hope that will get me by for now. I did purchase a nice boost gauge, and air/fuel gauge to monitor whats going on. In the future I will upgrade by adding an intercooler. Thanks for the input guys.

One last thing that I forgot to add. I have a full exhaust and a cold air intake. I believe the CAI will help with the A:F mixture keeping it from going crazy, but I think with only 550's and the FD fuel pump, the car will run lean. Any thoughts on that?

I say with the fuel pump, use a fuel pressure regulator. So the car doesn't run rich at idle. Also you may want to invest in a SAFC still.

friend is running an M90 with 5lbs of boost making little more than a stock T2, using all T2 550's and a walbro. when we went to tune, we did a base run of zero correction, and the correction didn't stray too far from that. the 550's were completely fine for it, the one problem he did have was that with walbro+550 primaries+NA ECU, low rpm ran rediculously rich.
