Supercharger

Does anyone make a supercharger for the Gtu? If so how well would a fc perform with it?

There is a unit called Nelson Super Charger that is designed for any NA. They're in the Los Angeles area.

Maybe one of the other rotor heads can hook you up with an phone number.

Hey, thanks for the plug. Yes, I have the Nelson kit. It's a Paxton SN series supercharger with some custom pieces that Nelson made; mounting bracket, throttle body horn, elbow duct between tb horn and sc, and the upper radiator hose mount. All of the other pieces, (tubing, bdfpr, pulleys, belts) are commercially available.

Infini is correct, Nelson is no longer making the kit. Mariah was supposed to be putting together a new run, but that hasn't materialized in over a year. I've been thinking though; I get a couple of emails a week asking about the kit. So I'm contacting places that do CNC machining to find out how much it would cost to duplicate the custom parts. So far, I found a shop outside of Syracuse that would take on the job, but they haven't given me the estimates yet. I'll be up near there in two weeks, so I'll contact them in person. Maybe I'll be going into the supercharger kit business soon.

There was a guy who was building a T2 with a Vortech supercharger, Pau Yaw was doing the job. He was on the FC list about a year ago, haven't heard from him since!
