Question SunRoof

I was wondering how other ppl's sunroof works.
Mine, I have to give a gentle lift to help the sunroof to go up a bit then it slowly opens up.
Btw I have a bit of rust happening inside around the sunroof.
Should I get a body shop to cut it up and install another clip?

Needs cleaning & lubing to work 100% proper. The rear hatch shocks need replacing to "pop-up" when cold/warm.

Another possibility.

The weather stripping could have swollen and is causing it to stick. Take a Bic razor and gently shave the weather stripping down. Stephen(supergoat) did this and it works perfectly now.
