Anyone ever seen them for the rx7's? My sunroof is kinda up high on the passenger side and the motor seems shot, instead of replacing it why not just put it on a diet and ditch that ****.. here it is on some hondas (as seen on honda tech)

I would replace it with a lexan one and keep the sliding factor intact. The lexan will be lighter and easier for the motors to move.

On a side note, try pushing it up a little when you're trying to get it to retract to help get it started. This is assuming you can hear the motor running.
