Hey Matt I just looked them up in the mazda parts catalog here at my work and they are two different pumps, and the gaskets are also different. I would assume no, but I haven't done this change either.....maybe someone else out there has. I'm kind of intereted in knowing as well.

I think the FD pump (just the pump) will fit in an S5 FC (89-91)

I say this because, when you buy an after-market pump they come in kits for 86-88 and 89-95.

But I am not sure.

That's probably correct. I looked up fuel pumps for an '88 Turbo II and a '93 RX-7. I didn't even think to check for an s5 model because the signature lists an '88 turbo as his vehicle. Thanks for the info!

The FD3S fuel pump drops into a Kouki FC3S no problem.
To install the FD3S fuel pump into a Zenki FC3S, you need to use a longer piece of hose, but it still isn't bad.
Zenki FC versus Kouki FC, the fuel pump coupling is slightly different.

So where you think these cars come from?
From the U.S.???
It's just homage to where the cars originally came from.
