suggestions on where to spend money

Where do you suggest spending money, to make good, reliable, power.

like ive said in a few other posts, i blew my engine last saturday...so now im gonna be prepping my car for a turbo swap, and saving up my money for all the goodies that im wanting to get. Im wanting to go all out with this swap, prob about 300whp....

Car: 86 Base 4-lug...pretty much stock
With: Sunroof, and power windows
Without: Carpet, sound deadening, A/C, Radio, Speakers, Power steering, most interior

Budget: $7,000-8,000 to put towards this turbo swap (exhaust, flywheel, clutch, engine, porting, turbo, FMIC, microtech, fuel system, T2 drivetrain) anything that would be vital to making power and getting the car running beautifully.

Once i get the engine in and running, i have about $4,000 more that im going to be spending on suspension, wheels, paint, etc. etc.

i keep hearing so much good stuff about BNR Supercars, and im dieing to check out the website/prices...but i cant ever find a working link for the site....anyone know anything about this?

im also going to be working 3 jobs this summer...so if everyone feels that the budget needs to be shifted around a little bit, i can take that 4k from the suspension and put that towards the engine....and just save more money for the non-engine related goodies

any suggestions on where to drop the 8g's?

Sounds good to me...I would keep some extra cash just in case something happens. You never know...

well....the reason that i wouldnt sell this car and get a T2, is because this cars body and interior arent the most beautiful things....resale value would be low. Actually, i only got the car for 200 bucks, so i guess selling it for anything would be a profit.

But, the main thing is, i need a project car for this summer....none of my friends see the potential this car has, and no one thinks i will go through the trouble and effort...i have to prove them wrong
