Sticky idle
For the past few months my car has had this problem. About 80% of the time when I come to a stop and idle, it will idle at about 1300-1500. I can get it down to 750 by blipping the throttle to about 2500 and letting it fall down. It don't work all the time but 90%, just takes a couple tries sometimes. I have tried lubricating the throttle cable and linkage springs etc. What else could it be?

It looks like you have the mechanical issues covered.
Here is one the sneaks up on you - grounds.
The sensors all work with weak low voltage signals.
Fixing or replacing grounds, especially the one from the bell housing to the firewall, can fix many different problems.
Many have had amazing improvements by adding a ground or two.
