Arrow Suggestions For Boost Gauges?

I am looking for a boost gauge (In P.S.I preferablly) that will match the stock FC gauge cluster at night (amber backlight). The only ones I can find that are close are the HKS Old School gauges but they are discontinued. I am doing a J-Spec S5 swap in febuary. Also, the cheaper the gauge the better. 52mm is prefered. It can be mechanical (dont need peak hold or anything like that) unless you guys suggest otherwise. One last thing, where do you guys suggest mounting the gauge? I was thinking in front of the tach, any onther suggestions?

Yea - the PSI is too much - I was playing with the MBC.

Here is what I normally run:

Autmometer, and with the red bulb cover, it's almost a 100% match to the factory gauge light. So far the automter is dead on with the E6K

How accurate is that Sunpro? I'm assuming it has to be more accurate than the stock mmHg one.

The senders fail a lot - especially on the fuel pressure gauge.
I'm not a very big fan of digitial readouts for my gauges, so those are not an option.

I agree. I have those... That and a Clarion head unit which changes colors as well. Matches pretty well I would say. This is my old setup I have since moved the logicon around and put the logicon's spot so I can see them better..

At the time the picture was taken the EGT and Temp gauges were not yet hooked up, which is why they are pegging out!

If you're trying to figure out where to put the gauges as well without going the normal style that hangs off the A-pillar.. this way works pretty well.. Though you need to fab up your own little holder.

Hope that helps a little...

I had a blitz mechanical boost gauge and I liked it. Ditched it for an old school HKS electric boost gauge which matches the stock cluster very well. I have electric blitz water temp and oil pressure gauges and love them. Bump the thread again tonight and I'll post pix.

I have a similar question. Can I use a S4 N/A Gauge cluster with a S5 J-Spec engine and just get a after market boost gauge?

Aftermarket boost gauges are totally independent from the stock gauges/cluster.

But is it possible to use a S4 N/A Gauge cluster with a S5 J-Spec Engine? Im aware that S5 TII gauge cluster have boost gauges built in but can I just use a S4 NA cluster with a S5 J-spec engine?

Heya, depends how your doing it.

Are you converting to s5 wiring? I'd suggest just finding s4 electronics. Much cheaper than s5, and 100x more common
