Unplugging the TPS and disconnecting the vacuum hose to the Boost Sensor creates load on the engine.

It just started raining on me....didn't get to test that ****.

Supposed to have severe weather this afternoon so I am unsure if I'll be able to get back to it today.

If I get a chance later today if we aren't being battered with tornadoes, I'll jerk the rear leading plug out. Since it was brand new and the engine hasn't run right all day since I replaced it, it should be clean.

Any other suggestions while I am rained out would be greatly appreciated.

.

spray carb cleaner in the intake before the afm, if it runs better its an injection issue.

Good idea.

So when i take off the upper intake, can't I just disconnect all the BS on the TB, just unbolt the upper manifold and get it all out of the way?

i was just gonna say..narrow it down starting from the top. could even be a bad driver.
or spark may not even be adequate. an HEI tester would confirm. but yes, narrow it down first. i like to fog in propane, but whatever works i guess

if you want to pull the UIM, keep the TB and inlet on for sure. it should all come off together.it sucks assembling it all after the UIM is on. learned that the hard way.

So, It was a dead primary injector on the rear rotor. Replaced both of them with shiny new ones.

odd that it was intermittent, usually injectors work 100% or 0%.
