Unhappy Sudden power loss

Yesterday I experienced a sudden power loss in my Gen2 car. I was just upshifting as leaving a set of lights. Nothing harsh or aggressive, and it just kind of sputtered and suddenly had almost NO power. It won't idle without throttle but will drive with adequate throttle and clutch feathering. It feels like one rotor died. Is there a high probability failure mode or item? Is this how a rotary engine dies?

atleast 75 psi that is a worn moor, you sould get around 90 psi....spray carb cleaner all arounf the engine and if it drops the idle you have a vac line disconnected..

Drumheller, but that doesn't matter. I'm in Edmonton and Calgary every other week, it seems.

It is in Calgary, they sell cores, not srue if they would just rebuild your current core but whatever, can look into it. I have heard they are good and do good work and stuff.

$1650 in the box...with rebuilt rotors and housings
$2150 in the box with new housings
about $500.00 to R/R

Sounds pretty resonable.... especially in light of the fact that this is talking Canadian Pesos!~!
