This sucks I got the wrong filter ;_;

Ahhhhhh, I bought the 3" id, 4-5/8"- 6"x9"L K&N intake from jegs.com like someone recommended me and this thing is HUGE!
Man this sucks.

I believe that 2nd gens use a 2.5 inside diameter mount. Never measured mine. Maybe this weekend. That is something I might need to know.

It's not the diameter but the height of the filter! It's like 3 times the size I expected!
Oh well, at least I think I can return it.

Get a 3" elbow from Home Depot and screw it to the AFM pointing up, then cut a hole in your hood and clamp the filter to it.......you have a true CAI!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen a few drag imports doing this. Some have it shooting right out the headlight hole. I guess for a drag only car it would make sense.
